I am a qualified Person-Centred counsellor based in Peebles, in the Scottish Borders, offering sessions:

- in person (indoors) in Peebles, Dalkeith, and Strathaven (Other locations within 45 minutes drive may be possible)

- in person (outdoors) within a 45 minutes drive from Peebles

- online

- over the phone.

Registered member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) and working with clients aged 16 and over, I welcome people with a wide range of concerns.

Alongside my private practice, I currently volunteer as a counsellor for Cruse Scotland, a charity supporting people through grief.

There is no fixed number of sessions - Short-term counselling and long-term therapy are both welcome.

In person (Outdoors)

We can meet outdoors — for a walk in nature or in a park. I’ll bring camping chairs and large umbrellas, and we can adapt the location to suit your preferences. Meeting in person outdoors can be a good starting point for a few sessions before moving to online or phone therapy, if that feels right for you. Outdoor sessions in or within a few miles of Peebles are charged at £50 for 50 minutes. For sessions within a 10 to 45-minute drive from Peebles (estimated using Google Maps), only £70 sessions are available, which can last up to 70 minutes

In person

(Indoors)

I work from rooms in Peebles, Dalkeith and Strathaven. The cost of a session is £50 for 50 minutes.

Online and phone

Online and phone sessions of 50 minutes are charged £45. They are the most flexible.

Single session

If you wish to explore what Person-Centred counselling can help you achieve without committing to regular sessions, I offer single, longer sessions. Pricing and location are aligned with my other types of sessions and can be discussed by email.

In certain areas, my own personal and professional experiences enable me to offer more insightful and supportive counselling.
